About Me
Anna's journey began as a college rower and nutrition major, where her passion for sports nutrition ignited, leading her to earn a master's in Sports Nutrition. Working in various college athletic departments, she recognized the need for specialized skills in treating eating disorders among athletes. After years of additional training and experience, Anna now expertly combines her dual passions: Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating and Sports Nutrition.
Anna's mission is to heal individuals' relationships with food, exercise, and their bodies through transformative, experiential education rooted in HAES, weight inclusivity, and trauma-informed care. She provides a safe, non-judgmental, and hopeful space that supports and empowers change. Her personalized, therapeutic approach guides clients through an in-depth exploration of their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors concerning food and movement, aiming to uncover the roots of their relationship with nutrition and exercise for a more compassionate and healthy mind-body connection.
Anna holds a BS in Dietetics, Nutrition, and Food Management from Murray State University and an MS in Exercise/Performance Nutrition from Florida State University. She has been a Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) for over 15 years.
Originally from Kentucky, Anna has lived in Florida, Georgia, Lyon (France), and now resides in Dallas, Texas. She loves traveling with her family, being outdoors, riding her bike, and practicing yoga. Her most memorable bike ride was in Alaska, where she saw a mother moose with her calf in the wild.
