About Me

Jenica’s interest in nutrition developed during her childhood. Growing up, she always loved food, from having access to fresh produce from her family's garden to always baking and “writing cookbooks” with her friends to noticing how the food she ate affected her performance in sports. This passion led her to pursue a career in medical nutrition therapy, enabling her to assist clients with a wide range of conditions, including gastrointestinal health, women’s health conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, fertility issues, prenatal and postpartum nutrition, pre-diabetes, as well as type 2 diabetes and overall disease prevention and wellness strategies.

Jenica’s personal experience with overcoming GI and hormonal health challenges has instilled in her a deep passion for women’s and gastrointestinal health. She firmly believes that all individuals deserve access to nutritional care. Through her collaborative, personalized and evidence-based approach, Jenica empowers clients to achieve optimal well-being and feel their best.

Jenica graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from La Salle University and completed a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from The University of Alabama.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Jenica enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, and gardening. She also loves reading, puzzles, games, cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
