It’s as simple as setting your available hours, seeing patients during those hours, and getting paid.
Bring your own insurance patients
Already have your own patients who want to pay via health insurance? Leverage Berry Street to handle the insurance complexities and earn a higher hourly rate for bringing the patients yourself. Just like with Berry Street patients above — we verify patient eligibility and benefits, process insurance billing, and assume the risk of denials all run on our provided software. You bring the patients on board and provide them with awesome care, and we handle the rest.
Bring your own cash-pay patients
Already have a private-pay practice? Want to start one? Use Berry Street's HIPAA-compliant suite of tools to service cash-pay patients and reduce your costs (and stress!). We charge a simple service fee of 10%, which includes everything you need to service your cash-pay patients: EHR, scheduling, email + text reminders, credit card processing, etc. No monthly fees, no hidden costs — only pay when you make money!

Onboarding Process Overview
1. Submit the Credentialing Form
Takes 1 day
Review our Submission Guide, gather your details, and submit all your documents to our Credentialing Form.
2. Sign Agreements and finalize documentation
Takes 1-2 weeks
We'll ensure your agreements, documentation and CAQH profile are complete, then submit you to insurance.
3. Have your credentials verified
Takes 1-3 months
We work with major insurance companies to validate your credentials and get you added to our insurance plans.
4.Choose a date and start seeing clients
Takes 1-2 weeks
Once you're in-network, you'll receive an invite to join our community, speak with our team, and activate your profile to see clients!

We require all RDs to submit their resume, proof of their CDR credentials and state licenses (if applicable), and proof of insurance.

NPI number
The National Provider Identification number helps insurance companies identify providers and verify their credentials. To learn how to create or find your NPI number, refer to our Submission Guide.

CAQH Account
In order to submit our Credentialing Form, providers must provide their CAQH credentials, including their ID and login details. As we finalize your profile, we'll make sure all required sections are completed.

Malpractice Insurance
We require you to purchase individual malpractice insurance before onboarding with us. You’re welcome to purchase this through any insurance provider. Check our Onboarding Guide for more details!
