About Me
Abby’s interest in nutrition started when she was in high school after recognizing just how much nutrition affects everyday life. Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy in the counseling environment can support clients with a variety of conditions such as weight loss, general health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, and disease prevention. Abby has additional passion for the areas of nutrition with GLP-1 and other related weight loss medications, as well as bariatric surgery, with experience working in the Baptist Health Weight and Nutrition Center.
Abby believes that all people deserve nutritional care that comes from a practical and empathetic provider. She is motivated to help clients create realistic, achievable, and sustainable nutrition-related goals. She feels that nutrition is not just something that is a physical challenge to some, but also a mental challenge for many more. She is goal-oriented and wants to help her clients on a journey of rediscovering why proper nutrition is so important.
Abby graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Central Arkansas and completed a Master of Science in Dietetics Degree with an emphasis on Clinical Practice from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science.
