About Me
Hi! I am Afton, I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2014. I earned my Bachelor's degrees in Exercise Science and Food Nutrition & Dietetics in 2012 from Illinois State University while playing Division I soccer. After my undergraduate degrees, I moved south to Southern Illinois University to earn my Master's in Community Nutrition in 2014 to become eligible to sit for the Registered Dietitian exam.
I have worked in a variety of venues over the past 10 years as I established myself in my career. I have found the people I help best tend to be those who are focused on weight and lifestyle management, postpartum health, GI support, sports nutrition and pediatrics.
I currently reside in just outside of Indianapolis, IN. I have two elementary aged, rambunctious daughters who are a year apart in age.
I am looking forward to helping provide you with a stronger understanding with nutrition, reach your health and fitness goals and learn to some new, life-long habits.
I am an open book with everyone I work with. I cannot wait to meet you!
