Dr. Alexandra Lacqua’s passion for health and nutrition grew from her belief that food, movement, and daily habits play a powerful role in how we feel and how we age. As a board-certified Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician, she enjoys helping patients understand the connection between their lifestyle choices and their overall health. She believes nutrition is one of the most important foundations of disease prevention, metabolic health, and long-term wellness.
Dr. Lacqua has experience caring for patients with a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management concerns, and other chronic health conditions where lifestyle changes can make a meaningful impact. She has a special interest in preventive care, healthy aging, and helping patients create sustainable habits that fit their unique lives. Her goal is not to promote a one-size-fits-all approach, but to help each patient discover a realistic and enjoyable path toward better health.
Dr. Lacqua believes everyone deserves compassionate, personalized care without judgment. She takes a practical, science-based approach and enjoys helping patients move away from restrictive mindsets and toward a balanced relationship with food, movement, and wellness. Dr. Lacqua graduated from medical school at St. George's University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine and is passionate about continuing education in preventive health and longevity medicine.
