About

Alex is a Registered Dietitian with over ten years of experience in nutrition education. Alex has a PhD in nutritional sciences and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Having researched early relationships to food and eating, Alex enjoys exploring how our early experiences with food may shape the way we eat and think about food today.

Alex’s goal as your Dietitian is to normalize the ways your relationship to food, eating, and body might be challenging or confusing. Alex would love to work with you to create a safe, supportive space where food and body challenges don’t feel so overwhelming.

Alex specializes in a non-diet approach to nutrition or health concerns, unlearning diet culture, healing relationships with food and eating, disordered eating patterns, picky eating/limited variety, eating disorders, and child and family nutrition.
