About Me

Amanda's interest in health & nutrition started in middle school. Her father struggled with a lot of chronic diseases and it has been a (nearly) lifelong goal to prevent those chronic disease in herself and her children while helping others prevent and manage their chronic diseases as well. Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and disease prevention/wellness. Amanda has additional passion for the areas of PCOS, fertility, preconception, pregnancy, and postnatal care. She has four children of her own ranging from age 13 years to 5 months, and has always had a passion for reproductive nutrition.

Amanda believes that all people deserve nutritional care, and practices with a client-led approach. She feels that it is important to address the questions that the client has at the time and offer guidance & evidence-based recommendations based on client interest.

Amanda graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Dietetics from Central Michigan University in 2006 and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics also from CMU in 2010. She has been a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist since 2012 and a CDC Lifestyle Coach for around that same duration.

When not helping people meet their health & nutrition goals, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She enjoys doing family activities and taking her children to their sports & activities. Soccer is her favorite sport. She also loves running, kayaking, cooking/baking, and home organization.
