About

Amanda Wikan, MS, RDN, LD

Amanda’s interest in nutrition began through her own health journey and years of seeing people struggle with persistent symptoms despite “doing everything right.” She became especially curious about why weight loss, digestive health, and energy often don’t improve with standard advice, and how factors like gut health, metabolic health, stress, and hormones play a larger role than calories alone.

Amanda supports clients with weight management, digestive health, metabolic health, and overall wellness. She has a particular passion for the intersection of gut health and weight regulation, helping clients understand how digestion, microbiome balance, and lifestyle patterns influence metabolism and body composition. Amanda enjoys translating complex nutrition science into clear, practical steps that clients can actually use in daily life.

Amanda believes everyone deserves compassionate, individualized care. She practices with a non-judgmental, root-cause-oriented approach and enjoys helping clients move away from rigid rules and confusion toward a more confident, sustainable relationship with food. Her work focuses on improving how the body functions so that changes in weight, energy, and digestion feel steadier and easier to maintain.

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with experience supporting clients through both evidence-based clinical care and personalized lifestyle guidance.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with friends and family. She values balance, curiosity, and lifelong learning—and brings those same values into her work with clients.
