About Me
When I was a young child, I was diagnosed with severe anaphylaxis food allergies. This is when my personal relationship with food began. My struggle with food allergies helped me learn how to advocate at a young age for a healthy lifestyle.
After completing college and graduate school I worked in all the different outpatient settings- hospitals, doctors offices, teaching classes, teaching at work sites, community nutrition, restaurants, weight loss and diabetes clinics, nursing homes, health rehabilitation clinics, and prenatal clinics. It has been rewarding to work with all different types of people over the years through different phases of life.
Currently my husband and I have three very athletic children playing all the different sports from elementary to high school. We are striving to keep up with our lifestyle and achieve our goals and maintain healthy weights. All of us are constantly in the kitchen cooking but we also eat out on the road and in restaurants. We want to be experiencing life as full as we can but still keep our health as a priority.
Life is full of foods and social activities and challenging work situations. It is my goal to help you find a plan that fits into your lifestyle with changes you feel like you can make permanently to meet your goals. Everyone needs support as they make changes and learn how to live healthier. Making changes is hard and I am here to help you reach your goals.
