About

I chose to become a dietitian because I believe in preventative health. I am honored to walk alongside people as they work to improve their quality of life, as they define it. I believe that food can play a strong role in healing people physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Good health begins with good nutrition and other preventative health practices, but I am also a strong advocate for the idea that practicing balance without restriction leads to better relationships with food and overall better well-being. My specialty areas include weight management, longevity nutrition, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, women's health, and general wellbeing. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outdoors when the weather permits. I love to run and hike with my spouse, garden, and play with my dogs. I am also a registered yoga teacher and prenatal yoga teacher and spend a few hours a week both as a student and teacher of yoga. When I can't be outside, my favorite indoor hobby is reading.
