About Me

Andrea offers an integrative, whole person approach to nutrition counseling, disordered eating, and weight concerns to help you reach your optimal nutrition, lifestyle, health and well-being goals with compassionate listening and care. As a mindfulness-based registered dietitian nutritionist and wellness coach, Andrea helps support you to make sustainable life-transforming changes in your nutrition, mindset and lifestyle to thrive. She uses a non-diet, self-compassion and mindfulness-based whole person and integrative approach informed by mindful eating, intuitive eating, integrative and functional nutrition, expert nutrition guidance, mind-body medicine and Health at Every Size (HAES). She brings her training and skills as a mindful eating expert, Well Nourished Health and Life Coach, and certified mindfulness meditation teacher to support you to have greater balance, peace, self-compassion and joy in your relationship with food, nutrition, weight/body-image and your life. Andrea is author of the book “Well Nourished” which was chosen as one of the “Best Mindfulness Books of 2020” by Mindful Magazine and is a certified teacher of the Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training program. She has a bachelors degree in Human Biology from Stanford University and a Master’s Degree in Public Health Nutrition from UC Berkeley. Andrea founded and directs the Mindful Eating Training Institute where she leads workshops, retreats and trainings in mindful eating internationally. One of her greatest joys is sharing nutrition and well nourished living with her family, friends, community and clients. She welcomes you to her practice.
