About

Anna’s interest in nutrition was sparked when several family members developed nutrition-related health concerns. Observing the role nutrition played in their disease journeys inspired her to pursue a career in nutrition. Anna graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science, a concentration in Human Nutrition, and a minor in chemistry. After completing her undergraduate studies, she enrolled at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she completed her dietetic internship and earned a Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition. During her time in Kansas City, Anna dedicated most of her clinical hours at a prominent regional children’s hospital, where she discovered her passion for pediatric nutrition. Witnessing children of all ages and disease states thrive with nutrition interventions solidified her decision to specialize in pediatrics. Anna moved back to the east coast, and now has six years of experience as a Registered Dietitian working in pediatrics. Currently, she serves children hospitalized with cancer, blood disorders, failure-to-thrive, malnutrition, and patients in the inpatient pediatric rehabilitation unit. While Anna has extensive pediatric experience, she also enjoys working with people of all ages because she understands that nutrition can effectively improve and address various conditions regardless of age.
