About
Annie Parikh is a family nurse practitioner focused on weight management and metabolic health. She began her clinical career as an intensive care nurse, spending over five years caring for patients with complex neurologic, cardiac, and surgical conditions at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica. That experience taught her to pay close attention to the small changes that matter, an instinct that still shapes how she approaches every patient today.
After earning her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Annie transitioned to family practice and telehealth, where she now cares for patients across the country. She completed a Certificate in Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine to deepen her expertise in weight management, and she has particular experience supporting patients on GLP-1 therapies through initiation, titration, side effect management, and long-term follow-up.
Annie's approach is warm, thorough, and evidence-based. She believes weight and metabolic health are deeply personal, and she treats every patient as a whole person rather than a number on a scale. Her goal is to build the kind of trust that makes it easy for patients to ask questions, share what is working and what is not, and stay engaged in their care over the long run.
Annie lives in Los Angeles with her family and speaks English and Cantonese.
