About Me

My passion for nutrition started in childhood, and then flourished in college when I began learning about the science behind food. Today, I bring over a decade of experience helping individuals understand nutrition and how it impacts their lives. I have experience in both the inpatient and outpatient side of a hospital setting, where I have worked with individuals with diabetes, heart disease, renal disease, digestive diseases, cancer, food intolerances, and pre/postnatal individuals. I have also spent a few summers working as a dietitian for children with severe food allergies in a camp setting. Through these experiences, I have seen the life-changing effects of empowering people with knowledge about the food that they eat and what it can do for their bodies.

I believe everyone deserves access to nutrition education, whether for the purposes of treating disease, preventing disease, or general well-being, and a judgement free environment for this learning. I am dedicated to meeting clients where they are at and working with them, side-by-side, to reach their goals. I believe every person is the expert on themselves, and one size does not fit all when it comes to nutrition therapy. Each person's unique lived experiences play a role in their health journey, and I keep that at the forefront while implementing science-based nutrition therapy to find long-term, sustainable solutions.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition from Central Washington University and completed my Dietetic Internship at California State University, Sacramento.

It would be my privilege to join you on your journey to becoming your best, most healthful self!
