About Me
Brian is a dedicated registered and licensed dietitian who specializes in providing compassionate, individualized care to clients with diverse nutritional needs. With a focus on empowering individuals to take ownership of their health, he’s worked extensively with clients managing chronic conditions such as diabetes (both Type I & II), cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal disorders, and many other health concerns. Additionally, Brian has a passion and additional specilization for helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working closely with caregivers to create practical and achievable care plans.
Brian’s training in Medical Nutrition Therapy is complemented by a strong commitment to evidence-based practice. He believes in integrating the ADIME framework—Assessment, Diagnosis, Intervention, Monitoring, and Evaluation—into every client’s care plan to ensure that their unique needs are met with precision and care. Whether it’s developing condition-specific meal plans, tracking food logs and weight trends, or facilitating in-person patient and caregiver workshops, he tailors every step to the individual, providing both macro-level guidance and granular, actionable tasks.
Brian’s own experiences navigating the sports landscape, working previously in NCAA FBS Football in recruiting, operations and on-field coaching, he leverages this experience working with high level athletes to understand the challenges that come with making sustainable lifestyle changes and enjoy finding creative solutions to meet their clients’ needs. Whether it’s adapting recipes for specific conditions, teaching balanced portion control, or creating educational materials, Brian is passionate about helping clients discover their individual path to wellness.
Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Western Kentucky University and completed two separate Master’s Degree programs in ‘Clinical Nutrition’, and ‘Nutrition & Applied Dietetics’ from Logan University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the gym, lifting weights, cycling and running, or experimenting in the kitchen, creating unique recipes. Clearly passionate about fitness, he often looks to incorporate personal training into his wellness approach, further connecting nutrition and movement in their practice.
