About
Brittany started her nutrition career working as a collegiate sport dietitian. Over time, she found herself most drawn to supporting athletes who had a history of disordered eating, menstrual cycle irregularities, and weight concerns. Her passion for supporting active women and female athletes comes from her own background with disordered eating and high level athletics and ultimately helps her build a special rapport with her clients.
In 2020 Brittany founded Fueled & Well Nutrition, a virtual nutrition private practice that takes a more intuitive and flexible approach to health and performance-based goals. She firmly believes that you can be your healthiest, happiest and highest-performing self while also having an intuitive, positive, and guilt-free relationship with food.
Brittany blends evidence-based nutrition protocols, intuitive eating work and provider coordination to provide every client with an individualized and impactful nutrition care plan.
Brittany's ultimate mission is to help active women and female athletes break free of disordered eating and food shame to nourish their bodies and discover their healthiest, happiest self.
Brittany obtained her bachelor's degree from Rice University and completed her Master's in Kinesiology with a concentration in Nutrition from Texas Christian University. Her dietetic internship program was with Yale-New Haven Hospital, and she passed her Registered Dietitian board exam in 2017. In 2020, Brittany also passed her board exam for her advanced practice credential and became a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and exploring new restaurants. In addition to her nutrition work, she teaches indoor cycling classes and loves empowering her clients to relate to exercise in a more positive way. She and her husband share an energetic golden retriever and 1 young daughter. She is located just north of Dallas, Texas but misses the New-Haven style pizza from her home state of Connecticut 🍕
