About
Hi, I’m Brooke! My passion for my work as a registered dietitian comes from my own story—after years of struggling with unexplained symptoms, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis in 2020. Through intentional dietary and lifestyle changes, I experienced firsthand how powerful food can be in managing chronic inflammation. That journey inspired me to help other women uncover the root causes of their health concerns and feel empowered in their own healing.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Saint Louis University and have over seven years of experience in hospitals, outpatient counseling, and teaching as an adjunct professor. Today, I channel that experience into supporting women in creating personalized, sustainable paths to wellness. When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me tending to our suburban homestead, exploring/traveling with my husband, daughter, and energetic Australian Shepherd, or checking another ballpark off my bucket list as I work toward visiting every MLB stadium in the league.
My diet philosophy is simple: get to the root of your problems. Around here, we don’t guess—we test. I employ a full 360-degree approach that includes traditional and functional lab testing, medication and supplement reviews, nutrition analysis, and lifestyle assessment. When you work with me, you can put your fears of judgment, restriction, and guilt to rest. Fad diets? We don’t know her. At Sunshine State Nutrition and Wellness, I believe food is both fuel and fun, joy is a nutrient, and a healthy diet isn’t “one size fits all”—just like your favorite pair of jeans, it should fit you and make you feel your best.
