About Me

Carly grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and she has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) for the last 10 years. Her interest in nutrition originally stemmed from the experience of being a patient herself, which gave her the drive and motivation to fight for her patients and help others through their own health and nutrition struggles. She followed that interest to San Diego State University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in foods and nutrition, along with an honors minor in interdisciplinary studies and a certificate in cultural competency. She continued her educational journey at Fresno State University, where she completed her dietetic internship, and graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Science (MS) degree in nutritional sciences, as well as a certificate in advanced dietetics. Carly has worked in acute care hospitals and in outpatient private practice, she has written for professional nutrition blogs, and she has taught numerous university nutrition courses, but her passion lies in providing one-on-one nutrition counseling. She combines evidence-based practice with empathy, compassion, and support to help people reach their goals and feel their best. Carly's favorite clients are chronic dieters who have tried just about everything, and are now ready to put their trust in a nutrition professional who knows how to help them achieve what the diet industry couldn't. She has a passion for intuitive eating, Health at Every Size, and weight-inclusive care, and she will guide you toward optimal health and a better relationship with food and your body no matter what size, shape, or color you may be!
