About Me

Hi, I’m Carly! I’m a second career dietitian and my interest in nutrition started during my time as a group fitness instructor. I was working in my first career as a product developer and teaching group fitness classes on the side. During this time, I realized that a majority of my clients and class participants had questions about what to eat and needed support with their nutrition. This sparked my interest in exploring a career in nutrition and gave me the nudge I needed to go back to school and make the switch and I haven’t looked back since!

I have a Bachelors of Science from Penn State University in Chemistry, a Bachelors of Science from The University of Wisconsin Green Bay in Nutrition Sciences and I completed my Dietetic Internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Since then, I have worked in both clinical nutrition and outpatient counseling through which I have experience helping clients manage multiple health conditions including PCOS symptoms, insulin resistance, diabetes, heart health, weight management and overall general health and wellness. I also have a strong interest and experience in sports and performance nutrition as I am an Orangetheory Fitness Coach and avid marathon runner. I love working with active individuals and runners to help them reach their performance goals!

I take a non-diet approach to nutrition and believe that sustainable and realistic change is what leads to overall success. In my practice, I focus on food neutrality, nutrition education and meeting you where you are at. I prioritize your preferences, unique lifestyle and individual needs to help you reach your goals without restriction, fad diets or sacrificing your relationship with food.

I look forward to being a part of your nutrition and health journey!
