About Me

With an “all foods fit” approach to nutrition, I strive to meet not just the nutritional needs of my client, but look at it from all avenues of their health; physical, mental, emotional. All of these areas impact the food choices we make on a day to day basis and I take the time to get to know YOU. I want to get to know your likes, dislikes, what has worked in the past and maybe what hasn’t worked for you. My goal is to create an individualized plan that takes your current life into consideration and what is realistically possible for you at this time. Eating and nutrition can be challenging, but I want to show you how fun and rewarding it can be. I like to focus on the non-scale victories such as having more energy, sleeping better, trying a new vegetable or hitting a personal record in the gym. When we have a non-number approach to eating, we can find success in the little things. I support my clients through an encouraging yet direct counseling aspect and want to hold you accountable. You aren’t in this alone and having someone to check in on you, push you out of your comfort zone and talk through ideas with, is who I want to be. I am looking for clients who are motivated to change, excited to find a plan that works for them and want to learn more about the power of nutrition and proper fueling.

I hold my Bachelor's of Science in Food and Nutrition and my Master's in Exercise Science and Wellness. My passion lies in sports performance and women's health. I am a member of a local CrossFit gym, have run several 10ks, a Spartan Race and am currently training for a Hyrox Race and my first Half Marathon. I have experience working with collegiate athletes at Duke University and know what it takes to fuel a top level athlete. As a previous collegiate athlete, I enjoy connecting with other athletes and building relationships through food and performance. Understanding how to fuel my body was empowering to me and I want to share that with others.

When I am not eating or exercising, I can be found reading a good book, lounging on the beach or spending time with my husband and dog. We enjoy the outdoors and trying new restaurants. I look forward to connecting with you and helping you reach your health and performance goals!
