About Me

Katy’s interest in nutrition started in 2008 while working with athletes as an athletic trainer, after researching what could help athletes prevent injuries and assist in injury rehabilitation. Nutrition seemed to be that key! With many years of experience, Katy can support clients with a variety of personal goals and a variety of conditions. Small habits can add up to a big change and Katy can help support these changes. Katy has additional passion for the areas of overall wellness, adding in exercise, and healthy sleep hygiene. All these areas can promote overall health and stress reduction.

Katy believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a supportive, accountable approach. She feels that starting with your improving your relationship with food can be a great place to start to help everything else to fall in line. Understanding change is hard and can be intimidating, but you never regret eating better or being active!

Katy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Florida and completed a Masters’ Degree in Nutritional Science from Syracuse University.

Katy enjoys spending time with her family, playing her violin and volunteering with the local high school basketball team.
