About Me
Christa's interest in nutrition started more than 2 decades ago when she became frustrated and confused with all the conflicting nutrition information in the news and desired to make the best choices for her family and herself. She eventually pursued a second career path and earned her dietetics major from Central Michigan University and became a Registered Dietitian in 2007.
Since that time, Christa has practiced in several settings including hospitals, dialysis centers, and her own private practice. Christa has come to align herself with a functional approach to nutrition and lifestyle, looking for root causes to nutrition and health concerns while integrating her years of clinical experience and current nutrition research to offer her clients a holistic solution to health and weight issues. Additionally, Christa also holds a Master Health Coach Certification through Sears Wellness Institute and is a level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach.
Christa has a passion for helping peri-and post-menopausal women in weight management and optimizing lifestyle strategies, to achieve their personal health goals and age well throughout their entire lifetimes.
In her spare time Christa enjoys biking, running, hiking, sailing, skiing, and pickle ball. Christa also recognizes the importance of strength training in maintaining functional fitness, optimizing metabolism and body composition. She admits to not particularly "enjoying" weight training, but dedicates 3 sessions a week to this and "enjoys" the positive effects it brings to her life and body.
