About

Edita's interest in nutrition started during her junior year in college as her studies focused on medicine and health prevention. Therefore, she felt that nutrition was fundamental to promote better health from birth to adulthood. Edita's training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as pre- and post- natal nutrition, breastfeeding, weight management (pediatric and adults), heart health, digestive health, pediatric nutrition, and disease prevention/wellness. Edita has additional passion for the areas of pre- and post-natal nutrition as well as early life nutrition (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school aged children) since this is the start of instilling a solid nutrition foundation for better health and well-being.

Edita believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. She feels that nutrition education can better inform clients to help them achieve better nutrition and health in a personalized and holistic manner.

Edita graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maryland at College Park and completed her Master's Degree in Education from the University of the People. Edita enjoys reading, walking, dancing, and baking.
