About Me

Liz’s interest in nutrition stems from her own experience as a former collegiate field hockey player. She takes pride in practicing from a non-diet, health at every size lens. She feels that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to nutrition, and will work with each client to make long-lasting changes that support their specific goals. Liz specializes in sports nutrition and can provide support in developing fueling plans, navigating travel nutrition, weight gain, and injury rehabilitation. She also supports clients of all ages with general healthy eating, building a positive relationship with food, as well as managing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, and diabetes.

Liz spent the last year working with the Kansas City Royals as a Minor League Nutrition Fellow, providing individualized nutrition counseling to over 100 professional baseball players. Liz also coordinated nutrition care for injured players throughout the minor league system, using nutrition strategies to help them recover optimally. She also has experience working with NCAA Division I collegiate athletes, having spent two years as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Michigan.

Liz graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts and earned a Master's of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Michigan.

Liz enjoys reading, trying new coffee shops, thrifting, playing tennis, cheering on the Detroit Lions, and snuggling with her dog, Apollo.
