About

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a Registered Dietitian with a Master's degree in Dietetics and I'm currently working towards my second Master's degree in Exercise Science. My interest in nutrition started in high school while I worked as a food service assistant at our local hospital. I really enjoyed seeing how unique ways of eating could help heal the body and provide someone with a better quality of life. In college, I learned about intuitive eating, weight inclusive nutrition, and Health at Every Size (HAES). Once I learned about these, there was no turning back on my approach to help clients.

Today I work with clients to heal their relationship with food and their bodies while also improving their health. I like to help them make sustainable changes that don't involve stepping on the scale. My mission as a dietitian is to help my clients feel in charge of their health and advocate for themselves regardless of their body size.

In my personal time I enjoy reading, traveling to new places, trying out new recipes, and spending time with my fur babies (Lilly, Blue, and Alfie). I am also a sport fanatic and can be found attending sporting events throughout the year or tuning into a game at home.
