About Me
Hello, I’m Emily, and my passions are rooted in food, nutrition, and travel. As a chef with years of experience, I’ve developed a deep love for gardening, homesteading, and preserving my own food. Cooking has always been my happy place, ever since I was a child helping my grandma cook for the neighborhoods. I also find immense joy in traveling, immersing myself in different cultures, sampling new foods, and taking in the beauty of diverse landscapes. The excitement and relaxation I get from these experiences truly fill my cup.
My journey into nutrition began in high school when I realized my passion for cooking and chose to pursue culinary arts as my passion. While attending culinary school, I took courses in both general nutrition and culinary nutrition, sparking my interest in how food impacts the body. This led me to further my education with a degree in dietetics and nutrition. This helped lead me to my passion of helping others build healthier relationships with food and improve their overall quality of life.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people facing various health challenges, food issues, and body image concerns. I embrace the Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy and have seen firsthand how making peace with food and movement can be life-changing. My mission is to support individuals in finding balance—so they can enjoy life to the fullest, connect with loved ones, and create lasting health.
