About
Hi there! I’m Emma, a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping people build confidence and peace around food. Growing up in a Chinese family, I experienced firsthand how deeply food connects to identity, family traditions, and overall well-being. This inspired me to become a dietitian so I could support others in finding a balanced approach to nutrition—one that honors cultural roots while supporting their health goals.
I primarily work with individuals managing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and weight concerns. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed or confused about what to eat. Together, we focus on creating realistic, sustainable habits that fit into their daily lives. I’m especially passionate about helping clients navigate cultural food traditions while achieving modern health goals and building confidence in their food choices.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally sensitive. In our early sessions, we explore your relationship with food and what balance truly means for you. Over time, my goal is to help you gain clarity, confidence, and a sense of peace with your food choices.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University and am a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN). I’m bilingual in English and Mandarin, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring local coffee shops, experimenting with culturally inspired recipes, and staying active through outdoor walks.
