About
Genevieve Dooner’s interest in nutrition grew from her early passion for environmental science, sustainable agriculture, and gardening. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Biology from Saint Joseph’s University, she realized—while working in a lab—that her true calling was working directly with people. This led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Drexel University and a career that combines her love of science, food, and human connection.
Genevieve has spent her nutrition career in community mental health, teaching cooking and gardening in “food as medicine” programs, and helping individuals use food and lifestyle changes to improve their well-being. Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy allows her to support clients with a variety of conditions, including metabolic health concerns, digestive issues, hormone imbalance, cardiovascular disease, and more, as well as in disease prevention and overall wellness. She is particularly passionate about addressing root causes of symptoms—whether related to digestion, energy, mood, or all of the above—through an integrative, whole-person approach.
Genevieve believes everyone deserves personalized, compassionate nutrition care. She enjoys meeting each client where they are and guiding them toward realistic, sustainable changes that fit their unique lifestyle. She loves helping people discover how food, movement, and daily habits can work together to support lasting health.
Outside of work, Genevieve is a yoga teacher who enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, endurance biking, and playing tennis—basically anything outdoors. She’s an avid cook, a devoted farmers market shopper, and loves reading. Her background in environmental science continues to inspire her appreciation for fresh, seasonal foods and the connection between our environment and our health. She is currently working toward her IFNCP certification to further expand her ability to get to the root cause of her clients’ health challenges.
