About Me
Haley began a long journey with nutrition back in high school. While running competitively, nutrition became a big part of her life. Wading through the misinformation and abundance of nutrition advice became overwhelming. Over the years, it has become Haley's passion to help others find a positive relationship with food the way she has been able to through becoming a dietitian. Haley works closely with individuals who are struggling with disordered eating, mental health, and other conditions that can negatively impact appetite or nutrition. It is so rewarding to help someone see the beautiful side of nourishing their body rather than feeling the negative impacts of diet culture.
Haley's preferred method of care is motivational interviewing, meaning she likes to meet people where they are at, find the eating style that is going to best suit them, and help support them in how they can implement changes into their lifestyle. Haley has worked in critical care, diabetes management, mental health, prenatal nutrition, and has taught a variety of nutrition classes. Haley's bachelor's degree is in nutrition and dietetics and her master's degree is in family and consumer sciences, which gives her a range of experience and knowledge to help support her clients.
Outside of work, Haley enjoys running, mountain activities like hiking and skiing, taking yoga or spin classes, and reading a good book with a cup of coffee. Living an active lifestyle and enjoying good food are two of Haley's greatest passions and she loves to help others do the same.
Haley hopes to help others improve their enjoyment of food and understanding of how nutrition can improve their health and wellness.
