About

Hannah's passion for nutrition started as a realization of her own need for help. Growing up as a competitive dancer and later finding herself on the NBA court as a Detroit Pistons Dancer, she realized that nutrition was a missing link in her performance. Her extensive training and experience allow her to support clients with various needs including weight change, diabetes, cancer, general health, sports performance, and wellbeing. Hannah's major focus for the last 3 years has been in sports performance nutrition as that is where her interest in the field began. Now, Hannah is the sports performance dietitian for Sporting Kansas City, a Major League Soccer team.

Hannah believes that each individual requires a direct, individualized plan. She will approach sessions with an open-mind and be supportive, yet realistic, in her nutrition prescription. She feels that food plays such a large role in the nutrition picture, but also respects the fact that supplements also have their place for various conditions and goals.

Hannah's education includes a Bachelors degree from Saginaw Valley State University in exercise science and a Masters degree from Eastern Michigan University in Dietetic. She completed additional training with Memorial Hermann Rockets Sports Medicine Institute's residency program in Houston, TX. Since completing residency, she has acquired her Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics.

Hannah's life isn't only about food and nutrition. She's a coffee fanatic and loves to find a good binge-able TV series. You can find her in the gym on the daily; the training of the day could be intervals, a CrossFit-style workout, or an olympic lifting session. Otherwise, Hannah's life revolves around her adorable daughter who keeps her laughing but always on her toes!
