About
Hannah Millon-Garvey’s interest in nutrition began in college when she took a personal nutrition class and became fascinated by the connection between food, health, and overall well-being. That spark led her to become a registered dietitian in 2000. After many years of working in nutrition counseling, she expanded her career in 2016 by becoming a Family & Consumer Sciences teacher, where she helps middle school students build confidence and skills around food, wellness, and everyday life.
Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy allows her to support clients seeking to improve their overall health and prevent chronic disease. She specializes in weight management, helping clients move away from yo-yo dieting and toward sustainable habits that support long-term well-being—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Hannah is passionate about helping people make peace with food. She takes a personalized, compassionate approach and does not provide strict meal plans. Instead, she works with clients to develop practical, flexible routines that fit their lifestyle and goals. Her focus is on progress over perfection and building habits that last.
She believes everyone deserves access to respectful, inclusive nutrition care. Her approach is weight-inclusive, non-judgmental, and grounded in evidence-based practice. She finds joy in helping each client discover what balanced, nourishing eating looks like for them and guiding them toward a healthier, more confident relationship with food.
Hannah earned her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics - Dietetics Option from Keene State College and completed her Master’s Degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University.
Outside of work, she enjoys early morning Peloton rides, strength training, crocheting, and spending quality time with her family and her dachshund, Poppy—who wears a handmade birthday hat and gets a special dog treat each year. She also values creativity, laughter, and meaningful conversations over good food and connection.
