About Me

Hannah's long her love for nutrition was inspired by her mother, and all began at a young age. Growing up on a small farm in the Midwest, she enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, with her animals, and in the garden with her family. However, it wasn’t until college, that she honed her passion and skills in nutrition as an actual career path. She completed her degree in nutrition and dietetics from The University of Alabama, and began work in nutrition in public health, while applying for the required internship to become a Registered Dietitian.

She was recently married, had a new baby, and started her grad school and internship through Bowling Green University, in the year the world turned upside down, 2020. While there were many difficulties in balancing family life and academics, this was a driving motivator rather than a detractor to complete her schooling. She promised herself that she would show her baby girl that dreams and motherhood DO go together. She wanted to show her daughter that for her, having a child was not a burden, but rather, Hannah's drive to complete her dream. She continued to work in nutrition focusing on prenatal, postnatal and breastfeeding nutrition, along with other conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and digestive health. After two years of grad school and internship rotations, and adding baby number 2, she studied for boards and sat for her RD exam. She successfully passed and received her RDN credential. She later obtained her Certified Lactation Counselor credential for specific skills in breastfeeding, and loves working with moms of all walks of life.

Working with mamas, little kids and babies for the past 5 years has led her to where she is today. She is passionate in finding solutions for families struggling to live balanced lifestyles, and those who have too many plates in the air to count. She also enjoys focusing on improving overall health through sustainable weight loss interventions, patients with pre-diabetes, looks at ways to promote gut health, and focuses on the whole person and client-centered approach. She does this through facilitating the client centered goals, motivational interviewing, and small sustainable changes over time.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading all types of books, traveling, and exploring the mountains and beaches near her with her family. She would love to put her skills to work for you if the fit feels right.
