About Me
Heather's passion for nutrition and helping others is rooted in her lifelong love of cooking and her dedication to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her journey began in college when she discovered her ability to bring people together through food. In a new and unfamiliar environment, Heather often cooked meals for her friends, creating a sense of home and connection. This early experience planted the seeds for her career in nutrition and helping others thrive.
Heather now has over 11 years of experience as a Dietitian and has worked extensively with both adult and pediatric populations, helping individuals navigate a variety of health conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
She began her professional journey working with adult patients at a community hospital in Miami, where she spent three years counseling individuals on gastrointestinal disorders, heart health, psychological conditions, and elderly nutrition.
After relocating to Orlando, Heather gained experience in pediatric nutrition. As a mother of two young boys, she found a personal and professional connection to this field. Heather has experience in areas such as managing neurodivergent children’s nutritional needs, ketogenic diet therapy for epilepsy, special needs care, enteral nutrition, weight management, renal disease, infant nutrition, healthy eating, and general pediatric growth and development.
Heather believes that personalized nutrition is the future of healthcare and everyone deserves access to individualized care that aligns with their personal goals and beliefs. She strives to be a partner in her patients’ wellness journeys, finding fulfillment in helping them achieve their milestones and improve their quality of life.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She has a Certificate of Training in Weight Management for Adults and Pediatrics and is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician.
With her comprehensive knowledge, compassionate approach, and dedication to empowering others, Heather is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients and their families.
