About Me

Always loving food, health, and people, Heba's work as a dietitian is inspired by seeking tangible ways to help individuals optimize their health and quality of life, prevent disease, and manage their health conditions in holistic and impactful ways. Heba is deeply empathetic and listens with care to fully understand the barriers that come in the way of you creating sustainable and effective habits. She enjoys working collaboratively with each person to problem solve and create individualized solutions and systems that fit a person's unique disposition and lifestyle. Heba is passionate about empowering individuals with knowledge about food, their health conditions, and dietary practices.

Heba has almost a decade of experience working alongside individuals to achieve their health goals related to overall health and wellness, weight management, diabetes, heart health, gut health, cancer, disease prevention, and so much more. Previously an anatomy and chemistry teacher, she will happily provide any necessary education to help you take ownership over your health and develop a deep understanding of your body and its needs.

And while Heba believes food is functional and helps us to feel our best, she knows it also represents culture, joy, and community. As a wife and mother of twins, she also deeply understands the importance of pursuing a balanced approach that fits your circumstances in order to reach one's goals. She provides positive energy to sessions, celebrates wins, and tries to support healing one's relationship with food and one's body in ways that trickles down to the next generation.

Heba graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Loyola University Chicago, her Master of Public Health from Benedictine University, and her Master of Science in Nutrition from University of Illinois at Chicago.
