About Me
I'm Ilene Kapelner, a Registered Dietitian, Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator. I have a Masters in Nutrition from N.Y.U. My professional experience includes hospitals, long term care facilities, private practice. I specialize in neurological diseases such as ALS and Parkinson's, as well as weight loss and type 2 diabetes. I am a big fan of benefits of low carb, anti-inflammatory.
My enthusiasm, caring nature, excellent listening and counseling skills enable clients to feel comfortable working with me.
I am passionate about cooking and love to experiment in the kitchen which lead me to develop my own nutrition shake that I sold on Amazon.
