About Me
Jenna is a Board-Certifed Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS), herbalist, and Doctor of Clinical Nutrition Candidate (DCN).
Jenna earned a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Health, a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Herbal Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Salisbury University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States.
With a deep commitment to nurturing the body and mind, she is a functional medicine nutritionist dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their health through personalized, sustainable nutrition strategies.
Drawing on a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, Jenna combines the latest research in nutrition and functional medicine with the wisdom of holistic health principles to create customized wellness plans that address root causes rather than just symptoms.
She works with clients to optimize their health by integrating nutrition with lifestyle modifications, mindfulness, and emotional well-being. With a particular focus on digestive health, autoimmune conditions, women’s health and hormonal balance, Lyme disease, and general wellness, she takes a whole-person approach to healing, empowering clients to achieve lasting results.
By staying current with the latest in nutrition science and continuously expanding knowledge in functional medicine, Jenna is able to offer transformative care that supports immediate health improvements and long-term vitality. Passionate about education, she provides resources to help individuals understand how food choices impact their overall wellness and encourages self-care practices to nourish the mind-body connection.
Jenna’s philosophy is rooted in a patient-centered approach that focuses on root causes and a whole-body approach to health and wellness. She believes in personalized plans that customize recommendations for each person’s unique needs. This personalized method empowers people to fuel their bodies in ways that align with their unique goals and helps them achieve long-term wellness. Health and wellness goals should be practical and achievable. Nourishing the body should be a holistic, sustainable journey, not a series of short-term fixes or extreme diets. Health and wellness is not about perfection but about making consistent, mindful choices that support both the body and the mind.
Through her health journey and struggles, she realized her true calling in life is to guide others toward more optimal health and well-being. When not immersed in nutrition, she enjoys being outdoors, going for walks or hiking, water activities, making herbal medicines, reading, and spending time with her dogs.
