About
My interest in nutrition and healthy living grew through my training and experience as a cardiologist, where I saw firsthand how nutrition, weight, physical activity, and lifestyle can affect cardiovascular health. My medical training allows me to support patients with weight management, cardiovascular and metabolic health, disease prevention, and overall wellness. I have a particular passion for helping patients make sustainable changes to their nutrition and lifestyle because small, consistent changes can have a meaningful impact on long-term health.
I believe that everyone deserves compassionate, judgment-free care and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition or weight management. I take a personalized, practical, and evidence-based approach, working with each patient to understand their goals, challenges, preferences, and lifestyle. I enjoy helping patients find an approach that is realistic for their everyday lives and sustainable for the long term.
I am a board-certified cardiologist with training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Graduated with medical doctorate from Ross University Medical School, Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease at New York Presbyterian Queens, along with extensive experience caring for patients with cardiovascular and metabolic conditions.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and my 8-month-old son. Family is very important to me, and I believe making time for family, staying active, and finding balance are important parts of a healthy and fulfilling life.
