About Me
Jessica's interest in nutrition started in Medical school by reading a book on Nutrition, Lifestyle, prevention and reversal of disease. She decided to leave other studies to pursue Nutrition. After her own health journey, she developed a passion for helping others tackle their chronic diseases by getting to the root cause and providing proper nutrition interventions and education. Jessica's training in Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, high cholesterol, and disease prevention/wellness. Jessica has additional passion for the areas mentioned above having experienced these diseases in her family, including sucessfully reversing her own diagnosis with Diabetes.
Jessica believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a HAES informed approach. She feels it is an honor to help others find the key to their good health using Nutrition, Lifestyle and some supplementation as tools to acheive that end.
Jessica graduated with her Bachelor of Science in NeuroPhysiology from University of Marland; Has another Bachelors in Dietetics and Masters in Public Health Nutrition both from Loma Linda University in California. She is currently enrolled to begin her Doctrate in Nutrition. Jessica enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and daughter, and helping others however she is able.
