About

Julia's interest in nutrition started in college. As she studied to become a physical therapist, Julia realized that exercise is only half of the equation. Moving her focus in graduate school to nutrition, helped give her a balanced approach to help her clients reach and maintain their goals. Her training Medical Nutrition Therapy can support clients with a variety of conditions such as GLP-1 weight loss, prediabetes, cardiovascular disease, and disease prevention/wellness. She offers a 12 week course focused on weight loss and healthy habits to help you learn everything needed to move toward your health and wellness goals.

Julia believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with 'all food is good food' approach. Instead of living in an "on a diet, off a diet" world, learning to embrace food and create a healthier relationship with it, is her mission.

Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science from Alma College and a Masters in Public Health, Human Nutrition from the University of Michigan.

In her free time, Julia can be found on the sidelines watching her 3 kids play every sport known to man with a cooler packed full of healthy snacks for the team. She also loves to cook, run, and walk her dogs with her husband, Jim. A busy life where she has had to learn to balance the healthy food and meal prep too. Julia understands the busy schedule of middle age adults and looks forward to helping you do the same. Reach out now to get started!
