About Me
Julie's interest in nutrition started at a very young age as she has had food allergies since infancy. As she grew up, she was aware of how different foods would meet her nutritional needs and became fascinated by how the body works and how food fuels the body. It wasn't until after her first career as a musician was hindered by more health challenges, that she finally was able to fully dive in and earn her Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from Sonoran Health Sciences University and earn the CNS credential so she could help others like herself, who knew food is a key to getting better but wasn't sure how to put all the pieces together.
She believes that all people deserve to have food that meets their needs and that they can enjoy, so she works with each client to discover which specific foods they do not tolerate well, looks for ways to address root causes of symptoms, and a variety of foods that her clients can eat. Fear of food tends to be common in the clients she works with, so she helps support her clients through food reintroductions.
Julie enjoys playing the piano, tending the garden, and falling down research rabbit holes on whatever topic sparks her interest at the time.
