About

Kali's interest in food in nutrition started at a young age as she struggled with picky eating throughout her childhood. She developed an interest in plant-based eating and decided to pursue nutrition as a career. She has experience working as a clinical dietitian in a hospital setting and enjoys counseling patients in a wide range of nutrition topics, such as treating and preventing malnutrition, gastrointestinal disorders, weight loss, diabetes, and heart health. She has also worked for the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and is passionate about maternal and childhood nutrition.

Kali takes a compassionate approach to her nutrition practice, lending a non-judgmental ear while providing evidence-based nutrition recommendations and strategies to improve her patients' health and relationship with food. She believes that all foods can have a place in a nutrient-rich diet.

Kali graduated with a BS in Nutritional Science from Brigham Young University and completed her Master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama.

Kali loves spending time with her husband and two young sons, exploring the Pacific Northwest, hiking, kayaking, and trying out new dessert recipes.
