About
Kali is originally from Savannah, Georgia, where she was born and raised. She also lived in North Carolina for 10 years, experiencing life in rural Appalachia. Growing up in the South, her family often prioritized flavor and tradition over nutrition or health implications. While Kali now emphasizes the benefits of balanced, nutritious eating, she also deeply values the role of cultural and traditional foods in an overall diet. She believes that ALL foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle.
Kali’s interest in nutrition began as she explored career options prior to college. There wasn’t one awe-inspiring moment that led her to the field, but fate had its way. She quickly fell in love with nutrition science and later discovered a passion for applying that knowledge to help others improve their health. Today, Kali works across clinical, community, and private practice settings, allowing her to support clients and patients in a wide range of environments. Kali believes that the journey to wellness is not one-size-fits-all and requires a wide-scoped view with collaboration from the client to achieve their version of "best self".
On her path to becoming a dietitian, Kali earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Foods, and Dietetics from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health with Dietetic Training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After 6.5 years of education and training (2017-2023), Kali earned her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential in August 2023. She is versed in providing Medical Nutrition Therapy for conditions including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, high blood pressure, and more. In 2025, she completed a year-long fellowship with All Access Dietitians, further strengthening her skills in client-centered counseling, motivation, and sustainable behavior change.
If you’re ready to make lasting changes, Kali would be honored to serve as your Dietitian Coach and collaborative partner through a supportive 12-week journey toward better health.
