About

Kara LeClair is a registered dietitian with nine years of experience supporting individuals and families in developing a positive relationship with food. She practices using the Ellyn Satter model, guiding adults and children toward eating competence and trust in their own hunger and fullness cues. Kara takes a weight-neutral, compassionate approach that supports a wide range of clients—including those struggling with picky eating, chronic dieting, disordered eating patterns, or feeding challenges within the family. Her work helps clients find balance, confidence, and enjoyment in eating.

Kara completed her BS in dietetics and dietetic internship through the University of Connecticut. Prior to that, she earned her AS in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI as well as a certificate degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in Yysingeaux, France.

In her spare time she still loves to bake. When she’s not making a mess in the kitchen, you can find Kara bird watching, kayaking, visiting with friends or spending time with her cats, dog and husband.
