About

I became a dietitian because I witnessed firsthand the impact of a lack of nutrition education and felt compelled to make a difference. My healthcare journey began in radiology, where after 10 years, I realized just how crucial nutrition is to overall health. That was the turning point for me—I knew I wanted to be part of preventative care, helping people avoid hospital stays through better nutrition.

I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama, and had the amazing opportunity to intern with the University of Kansas Olympic Sports Team, diving deep into sports nutrition. I also gained invaluable experience at Mercy Hospital, where I expanded my knowledge in areas like prediabetes, diabetes, heart disease, and weightloss.

I’m passionate about giving back to my community and raising awareness about chronic illnesses. My goal is to empower my patients to make positive, personalized lifestyle changes that fit their unique needs, helping them live healthier, more vibrant lives.
