About Me
KeyVion’s interest in nutrition started in college at the University of Central Florida located in Orlando, FL. She has always had an interest in healthcare and just "stumbled" upon the field of nutrition when walking on the campus one day. She saw a sign for a free class on "healthy eating on a budget" (being taught by a dietitian of course), took the class and the rest is history!
KeyVion has not only the academic training that's required to be an RD but has hands-on experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy after working in the field for 10 years. She can support clients with a variety of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, insulin resistance and disease prevention/wellness. KeyVion has additional passion for the areas of prenatal and postpartum nutrition. As a mama of 2 very busy boys under the age of 5, KeyVion understands the unique nutritional needs of pregnant women and the impact it has on both the mother and the baby. As a mom, it's easy to "forget about yourself and your needs". She wants to walk with you and remind you that it is ok to take care of "you".
With KeyVion's compassionate and caring approach, she creates a safe and comfortable space for her clients to discuss their individual needs and concerns.
KeyVion graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Keiser University. She also keeps a current license to practice for the state of Florida.
KeyVion enjoys cooking good food, watching re-runs of the Golden Girls, going outside for walks and epsom salt foot soaks! Random fun fact: Cinderella is one of her favorite Disney princesses.
