About Me
Kristen Harmon is a Registered Dietitian who received her degree in Dietetics from the University of Kentucky. Her interest in nutrition began while working in the equine industry with racehorses in Lexington, where she learned firsthand the impact of nutrition on performance in a physically demanding field. As this passion grew, she pursued a new career path as a dietitian to help others optimize their performance, longevity, and quality of life.
Kristen believes that building a foundation of knowledge in nutrition fosters the confidence and independence necessary to develop sustainable habits that support a healthy, fulfilling, and active life. She has experience working with athletes from a variety of sports to include MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting, yoga, Pilates, endurance sports, and college football. She is able to draw from professional as well as personal experience in these areas to help clients reach their goals. She also has experience working with military personnel preparing for and returning from deployment as well as in garrison. No matter the lifestyle or career, she believes the principles of nutrition can assist with daily and sustained performance as well as long-term healthspan.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys any opportunity to move around outdoors in the fresh air, whether that be near the ocean or in the mountains with her family and two dogs.
