About Me

Lauren’s interest in nutrition began while realizing how profoundly food impacts both physical and emotional well-being . Originally from California and later living in Texas for several years, she experienced firsthand how cultural, regional, and personal factors shape people’s relationships with food. Her passion for nutrition deepened while working in a inpatient clinical settings, where she saw how evidence-based dietary interventions could support healing and empower patients through some of life’s most challenging health moments.

Her training in Medical Nutrition Therapy allows her to support clients with a range of conditions, including cancer, gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic syndrome, and malnutrition, as well as those seeking disease prevention and long-term wellness. Lauren has a particular passion for oncology— an area that reflect her commitment to walking alongside clients with compassion, clear guidance, and respect for their lived experiences. She also contributes as a blogger writing about nutrition, where she enjoys educating and inspiring others through accessible, evidence-informed nutrition content.

Lauren believes that all people deserve respectful, individualized care. She practices with a person-centered, non-judgmental approach and enjoys helping every client find their own path to nourishment, confidence, and food freedom.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Baylor University and completed her dietetic internship through Texas A&M University. She is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Carolina University, with plans to integrate her nutrition expertise into holistic, clinically informed nursing care.

Outside of her professional work, Lauren enjoys running in the outdoors, playing dominoes, and spending time with her rescue dog. She finds contentment in cooking, connecting with others over shared meals, and seeking balance in everyday wellness.
