About Me
Claire has always had an interest in achieving overall health through exercise and eating well; however, she did grow up in South Louisiana with a deep appreciation and understanding of the importance of tasty food, family recipe traditions and fun associated with meals. Because of this rich culture and her training as a registered dietitian, she is able to find balance in nutrition recommendations that incorporate healthy choices that are practical and flavorful. Her favorite slogan from the American Dietetic Association's National Nutrition Month campaign is "All Foods Can Fit!" She feels strongly that in order for dietary changes to last a lifetime they must be affordable and fairly easy to accomplish, delicious and nutritious and "fit" into the current lifestyle.
Claire believes that everyone has a story and she loves to listen to clients so that together they can design the best plan for success. Her focus is on using her knowledge of therapeutic nutrition to educate others on science-based nutrition principles and exercise guidance while inspiring and supporting them through challenging lifestyle changes.
Claire graduated from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette and completed her Supervised Practice Program and Masters of Science degree at Texas Woman's University.
Claire is an active volunteer in her church and school community as well as with her daughters through the National Charity League. She enjoys tennis, teaching pilates and bible study.
