About
Lisa, MS, RDN, LD, CEDS-C, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Supervisor with over 20 years of experience across clinical care, leadership, and program development. Eating disorder treatment has been the through-line of her career — from co-founding the Oklahoma Eating Disorders Association to most recently serving as Nutrition Manager for the Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program at Eating Recovery Center, where she led a regional team of experienced eating disorder dietitians and built the program's first RD group supervision model. Lisa also maintains her outpatient private practice, Oklahoma Nutrition Therapy, for 17+ years, specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, women's metabolic health, and sports nutrition. Alongside her clinical work, she has taught nutrition and health courses at Rose State College, Oklahoma City University, and the University of Central Oklahoma, and regularly presents at state and national conferences. She brings deep clinical expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a steady commitment to advancing the standard of eating disorder care.
My philosophy is grounded in weight-inclusive, non-diet care that meets each patient where they are. I believe recovery isn't about rigid rules or one-size-fits-all plans — it's about helping patients rebuild a trusting, sustainable relationship with food and with their bodies. I work collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to create care that honors the whole person: their medical needs, their psychological experience, their culture, and their goals. My role is to offer clinical expertise without judgment, to make space for complexity, and to walk alongside patients as they reclaim autonomy and trust in themselves. Lasting change happens when patients feel genuinely seen and supported, and that is the environment I strive to create in every session.
